Las Vegas

Sin City Brewing Co. is a Las Vegas craft brewery launched by award-winning brewer Richard Johnson in 2003. Las Vegas’ signature craft beer is built to satisfy both the adventurous drinker and those with a preference for the traditional domestic-style brew. Five signature beers and a variety of seasonal selections, in addition to the brand’s popular retail line, can be found in four Las Vegas Strip microbrew-bar locations.  All beers are produced in small batches (100 kegs at a time) using premium raw materials and a strict adherence to the Reinheitsgebot, the 1516 German beer purity law which differentiates Sin City beers from the big guys.

The idea for Lovelady Brewing Company started many years ago in the backyard of the Lovelady house where twins Richard and Robert starting brewing beer at the tender age of 17. Their friends immediately dubbed it “Dick and Bob’s Brew” and a dream was born.
Flash forward many years later...
the twins were joined by older brothers Jerry and Jeffrey, as well as a life-long friend and beer collaborator, Mike Brook to form a new company dedicated to brewing the freshest, tastiest and original beers in an area that could give back to the local community.

We make beers for all palates. We make complex, delicate, nuanced beers, not just the same typical west coast hop bombs or dark extremely high alcohol brews (though we make quality versions of those too). Our goal is to show the whole spectrum of beer, its history, and its evolution. To show beer its proper reverence, as not only "The people's beverage", but one that pairs as well with food as wine, and when it's skillfully crafted and not over hopped to hide the flaws in production, it does. The truth is, it takes more skill to make a delicate lager, than any IPA.

Reno and Sparks

To help with rising demand of great local craft beer, Great Basin opened the second location in Reno in July 2010. Opportunities allowed Great Basin to open the Taps & Tanks location in 2012 as a production facility and taproom. Great Basin is distributing several of our beers to Northern Nevada, Southern Nevada, Northern California, and looking forward to expanding even further. Over twenty years later, it still feels like a dream that has come true over and over again.
Great Basin is proof that dreams can come true, especially with a great community following. We love the Reno-Tahoe area and are proud to represent the state of Nevada as the oldest and the most award-winning brewery, having won numerous medals at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival® and even more prestigious World Beer Cup®. The dream lives on…

Las Vegas

Fresh ingredients and a love for our city are the two main components of our company. Our beer is a reflection of our city: sexy, classy, and one of a kind. We want to bring the art of craft brewing to the city that has crafted five individuals. Banger Brewing Company was created by the city of Las Vegas, for the city of Las Vegas. Our city consumes more alcohol per capita then anywhere else in the world. With that being said it is time to put Las Vegas on the map in the craft beer world. It is our hope that you join us and support us in our vision, and become part of our dream to revolutionize the beer industry!…

Las Vegas

Tenaya Creek Brewery originally opened as Tenaya Creek Restaurant & Brewery in November of 1999. Our food menu was fine dining with a great wine list and, of course, the freshly brewed craft beer.

We opened our new location in November 2015. We simply outgrew our original location. We tripled our brewing capacity on day one and have room to eventually produce ten times the volume of our original location. We also added a canning line at the new location. Currently you can find our beers in Nevada, Southern California, Arizona, Utah and Canada. We are also supplying Allegiant Airlines for their western flight routes in the US.

Located about 20 min from the Las Vegas strip, Joseph James Brewing Company calls Henderson, NV home. Seeing the explosion of craft beer across the nation and a lack of quality craft beer in Nevada, Joseph James Brewing Company was started in 2008 to fill that void. As the only production craft brewery in southern Nevada it is our mission to deliver the highest quality prooducts and create classic styles with our own unique touch.

Southwest of Reno

Blue lakes, colorful wildflowers and a variety of wildlife are just a few attractions this wilderness has to offer. Nestled between the Carson range and the Great Basin is the 30,000 acre Mount Rose wilderness, named after the highest peak in the Carson Range. The Tahoe Rim Trail, a scenic trail that circles Lake Tahoe, runs for approximately 7 miles through the Mount Rose wilderness, and offers magnificent views of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The strenuous 12 mile round trip hike to the summit of Mount Rose (10,776 feet) is popular among those seeking a wilderness challenge. The Mount Rose Wilderness offers great scenery and a memorable wilderness experience.

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest's spectacular 6.3 million acres makes it the largest national forest in the lower 48 states. Located in Nevada and a small portion of eastern California, the Forest offers year-round recreation of all types.

According to legend, a hardy band of Shoshone braves walled in the original jarbidge (their word for "a weird beastly creature") in a cave in Jarbidge Canyon. Now this northern Nevada Wilderness merits attention as one of the most remote spots in America. Eight of the peaks in the Jarbidge ridge exceed 10,000 feet. But with air as unpolluted as you will find anywhere, the view from these heights goes on for 150 miles. Look down from the peaks and you will see 4,000 feet into the valleys. This area is unusually wet for Nevada, with seven to eight feet of snow falling annually, ideal for vegetation that varies from northern desert plants to alpine plants. Snow often covers high trails from mid-October to mid-June. Many creeks and a few small lakes provides points of interest for anglers and hikers. Elk graze throughout this area, attracting their fair share of hunters, and the deer herd has grown quite large. Mountain lions also prowl these grounds.

Cathedral Gorge State Park is located in a long, narrow valley in southeastern Nevada, where erosion has carved dramatic and unique patterns in the soft bentonite clay. The park’s beauty began with explosive volcanic activity that, with each eruption, deposited layers of ash hundreds of feet thick. Great walking trails abound for exploring the cave-like formations and cathedral-like spires that are the result of geologic processes from tens of millions of years ago. A photographer’s dream, the park offers stunning views of the scenic canyon and visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking, camping and nature study.

Red Rock Canyon features a one-way 13-mile scenic drive, hiking and trails, plants and wildlife, geology, camping, cultural resources and much more. Our Visitor Center offers information and interpretation about recreation opportunities.  There are 26 numbered hikes and trails.

Incline Village

Lake Tahoe-Nevada State Park offers a number of different areas for visitors to enjoy. Sand Harbor is the most popular, with sandy beaches, a boat launch, picnicking and group use facilities. Sand Harbor is located three miles south of Incline Village on State Route 28. Memorial Point and Hidden Beach, Situated between Incline Village and Sand Harbor, are areas which offer outstanding views of the lake and more secluded access to its shores. Spooner Lake, at the intersection of State Route 28 and U.S. 50, is popular for picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, catch-and-release fishing and cross-country skiing . A group use area is available as well as rental cabins . Spooner Lake is also a trail head with access to the back country. The back country between Lake Tahoe and Carson City provides miles of hiking, equestrian and Mountain biking trails plus two primitive campsites.

Lehman Caves may only be entered with a guided tour. Cave tours are offered daily, year-round, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Park rangers lead all tours and explain the history, ecology, and geology of the caves. Two different guided tours of Lehman Caves are offered -- the Lodge Room Tour and the Grand Palace Tour. Cave tours regularly sell out.

Boat, hike, cycle, camp and fish at America’s most first and largest national recreation area. With striking landscapes and brilliant blue waters, this year-round playground spreads across 1.5 million acres of mountains, canyons, valleys and two vast lakes. See the Hoover Dam from the waters of Lake Mead or Lake Mohave, or find solitude in one of the park's nine wilderness areas. There is one national park just minutes from Las Vegas that has Joshua trees, slot canyons and night skies illuminated by the Milky Way. One national park where the rocks are as red as fire and the mountains are purple majesties.

 Nye County

Lunar Crater is a 400-acre depression (maar) that is thought to have been formed by a past volcanic explosion. It is one of two maars in the volcanic field of the Pancake Range.

Southern Nevada

Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area’s 48,438 acres provide peace and solitude for those who visit the unique scenic and geologic features and extraordinary cultural resources.
The centerpiece of the area is the Sloan Canyon Petroglyph Site, one of the most significant cultural resources in Southern Nevada. Archeologists believe the more than 300 rock art panels with 1,700 individual design elements were created by native cultures from the Archaic to historic era.

Enjoy there or take a bottle (or two) home with you.

Churchill Vineyards is located on the historic Frey Ranch in Churchill County, Nevada.  At 4,000ft above sea level, this beautiful county is a high desert region providing cool nights and warm days.  These drastic temperature differences produce intricate flavors and delicate aromas for flavorful, well balanced wines.

Churchill Vineyards is currently the only Nevada winery producing Nevada grown, produced, and bottled (estate) white wines.  Our limited supply of this unique product appeals to wine collectors and connoisseurs from all over the United States.  Do not miss this unique opportunity to taste premium wines made from Nevada’s first estate vineyard and winery.

The winery has a small estate vineyard planted in the early 1990’s and surprisingly, these vines had never been harvested. Fast forward to 2005 when we successfully harvested the first one and a half tons of Zinfandel grapes. This resulted in our release of Nevada's first ever commercial red wine, our 2005 Zinfandel. The wine is a medium bodied red wine with hints of cherry and cola. What is more surprising is this Zinfandel wine won "Gold" at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, making it Nevada's first Gold medal winner for a home grown wine. We also released the state's first commercial "inter-specific" or hybrid wine in 2009, our award-winning 2008 Frontenac. Now we like to say, we are "Bringing Gold to the Silver State".

Established in 1988, Jack Sanders founded the first modern winery in Pahrump. The Sanders Family continues to be committed to hand crafting each wine to finesse and perfect balance, bringing out the best in each vintage varietal and proprietary blends.
The family has been growing grapes in Pahrump for nearly three decades. The first vineyard was our Valencia Road Property (Now Winery Road) with our newest vineyards located along the Kellogg Agricultural Bench on Kellogg Road. The tradition continues with the completion of our new stunning Renaissance Tuscan style Winery, Visitors Center and Performing Arts Amphitheater. Much care and thought were involved in the creation of this immaculate facility.

We invite you to come to our winery & tasting room to savor a truly unique taste of Las Vegas. We are located only 20 minutes from the bright lights and bustle of the famous Las Vegas Strip, yet a world away from the neon. You will feel warmly welcomed as you enter our intimate tasting room to enjoy a wine tasting, handcrafted wines by the glass or purchase a few bottles to take home with you.

Each of our Nevada made wines has a story to tell. A journey from vine to wine, years in the making, to end with a finale of pleasing your palette. Tour the winery during your visit and gain a greater appreciate and understanding of this age-old art & craft of winemaking.

As home winemakers, we were very excited when Nevada passed a law in 2015 to allow commercial wineries in Nevada Counties of over 100,000 in population. At the time, we had just acquired management of an existing 3 acre vineyard in Fallon, Nevada and were very much looking forward to making Nevada grown wine. We started looking for space for a winery in Reno right away - and quickly found that it wasn’t going to be easy. We looked for over a year and finally found the ideal spot on East 4th Street - a quirky, fun, energetic and evolving re-development area that is also called the Old Brewery District. Once we had the space, we were able to start the process of applying for all of the various Federal, State, City and County permits needed…..and we did that. It’s been a marathon — but we made it to the finish line !!Nearly half of Barnard Griffin’s wine production comes from our estate vineyard, Caroway, while the remaining fruit is sourced from some of the best vineyards in Washington State.
