The idea for Lovelady Brewing Company started many years ago in the backyard of the Lovelady house where twins Richard and Robert starting brewing beer at the tender age of 17. Their friends immediately dubbed it “Dick and Bob’s Brew” and a dream was born.
Flash forward many years later...
the twins were joined by older brothers Jerry and Jeffrey, as well as a life-long friend and beer collaborator, Mike Brook to form a new company dedicated to brewing the freshest, tastiest and original beers in an area that could give back to the local community.

We make beers for all palates. We make complex, delicate, nuanced beers, not just the same typical west coast hop bombs or dark extremely high alcohol brews (though we make quality versions of those too). Our goal is to show the whole spectrum of beer, its history, and its evolution. To show beer its proper reverence, as not only "The people's beverage", but one that pairs as well with food as wine, and when it's skillfully crafted and not over hopped to hide the flaws in production, it does. The truth is, it takes more skill to make a delicate lager, than any IPA.

Reno and Sparks
To help with rising demand of great local craft beer, Great Basin opened the second location in Reno in July 2010. Opportunities allowed Great Basin to open the Taps & Tanks location in 2012 as a production facility and taproom. Great Basin is distributing several of our beers to Northern Nevada, Southern Nevada, Northern California, and looking forward to expanding even further. Over twenty years later, it still feels like a dream that has come true over and over again.
Great Basin is proof that dreams can come true, especially with a great community following. We love the Reno-Tahoe area and are proud to represent the state of Nevada as the oldest and the most award-winning brewery, having won numerous medals at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival® and even more prestigious World Beer Cup®. The dream lives on…
Fresh ingredients and a love for our city are the two main components of our company. Our beer is a reflection of our city: sexy, classy, and one of a kind. We want to bring the art of craft brewing to the city that has crafted five individuals. Banger Brewing Company was created by the city of Las Vegas, for the city of Las Vegas. Our city consumes more alcohol per capita then anywhere else in the world. With that being said it is time to put Las Vegas on the map in the craft beer world. It is our hope that you join us and support us in our vision, and become part of our dream to revolutionize the beer industry!…
Tenaya Creek Brewery originally opened as Tenaya Creek Restaurant & Brewery in November of 1999. Our food menu was fine dining with a great wine list and, of course, the freshly brewed craft beer.
We opened our new location in November 2015. We simply outgrew our original location. We tripled our brewing capacity on day one and have room to eventually produce ten times the volume of our original location. We also added a canning line at the new location. Currently you can find our beers in Nevada, Southern California, Arizona, Utah and Canada. We are also supplying Allegiant Airlines for their western flight routes in the US.

Blue lakes, colorful wildflowers and a variety of wildlife are just a few attractions this wilderness has to offer. Nestled between the Carson range and the Great Basin is the 30,000 acre Mount Rose wilderness, named after the highest peak in the Carson Range. The Tahoe Rim Trail, a scenic trail that circles Lake Tahoe, runs for approximately 7 miles through the Mount Rose wilderness, and offers magnificent views of the Lake Tahoe Basin. According to legend, a hardy band of Shoshone braves walled in the original jarbidge (their word for "a weird beastly creature") in a cave in Jarbidge Canyon. Now this northern Nevada Wilderness merits attention as one of the most remote spots in America. Eight of the peaks in the Jarbidge ridge exceed 10,000 feet. But with air as unpolluted as you will find anywhere, the view from these heights goes on for 150 miles. Look down from the peaks and you will see 4,000 feet into the valleys. This area is unusually wet for Nevada, with seven to eight feet of snow falling annually, ideal for vegetation that varies from northern desert plants to alpine plants. Snow often covers high trails from mid-October to mid-June. Many creeks and a few small lakes provides points of interest for anglers and hikers. Elk graze throughout this area, attracting their fair share of hunters, and the deer herd has grown quite large. Mountain lions also prowl these grounds.
Cathedral Gorge State Park is located in a long, narrow valley in southeastern Nevada, where erosion has carved dramatic and unique patterns in the soft bentonite clay. The park’s beauty began with explosive volcanic activity that, with each eruption, deposited layers of ash hundreds of feet thick. Great walking trails abound for exploring the cave-like formations and cathedral-like spires that are the result of geologic processes from tens of millions of years ago. A photographer’s dream, the park offers stunning views of the scenic canyon and visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking, camping and nature study.

These drastic temperature differences produce intricate flavors and delicate aromas for flavorful, well balanced wines.
Churchill Vineyards is currently the only Nevada winery producing Nevada grown, produced, and bottled (estate) white wines. The winery has a small estate vineyard planted in the early 1990’s and surprisingly, these vines had never been harvested. Fast forward to 2005 when we successfully harvested the first one and a half tons of Zinfandel grapes. This resulted in our release of Nevada's first ever commercial red wine, our 2005 Zinfandel. The wine is a medium bodied red wine with hints of cherry and cola. What is more surprising is this Zinfandel wine won "Gold" at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, making it Nevada's first Gold medal winner for a home grown wine. We also released the state's first commercial "inter-specific" or hybrid wine in 2009, our award-winning 2008 Frontenac. Now we like to say, we are "Bringing Gold to the Silver State".
Established in 1988, Jack Sanders founded the first modern winery in Pahrump. The Sanders Family continues to be committed to hand crafting each wine to finesse and perfect balance, bringing out the best in each vintage varietal and proprietary blends.
The family has been growing grapes in Pahrump for nearly three decades. The first vineyard was our Valencia Road Property (Now Winery Road) with our newest vineyards located along the Kellogg Agricultural Bench on Kellogg Road. The tradition continues with the completion of our new stunning Renaissance Tuscan style Winery, Visitors Center and Performing Arts Amphitheater. Much care and thought were involved in the creation of this immaculate facility.

As home winemakers, we were very excited when Nevada passed a law in 2015 to allow commercial wineries in Nevada Counties of over 100,000 in population. At the time, we had just acquired management of an existing 3 acre vineyard in Fallon, Nevada and were very much looking forward to making Nevada grown wine. We started looking for space for a winery in Reno right away - and quickly found that it wasn’t going to be easy. We looked for over a year and finally found the ideal spot on East 4th Street - a quirky, fun, energetic and evolving re-development area that is also called the Old Brewery District. Once we had the space, we were able to start the process of applying for all of the various Federal, State, City and County permits needed…..and we did that. It’s been a marathon — but we made it to the finish line !!Nearly half of Barnard Griffin’s wine production comes from our estate vineyard, Caroway, while the remaining fruit is sourced from some of the best vineyards in Washington State.
